The instillation on the wall was daunting at first. How would I capture the detailed and contrasting shapes, colours, and materials through a monotone medium using only charcoal?
Through the session I realised that the key to success was not through the detail put into the objects on the page, but the lines the are visually in front of you. Here I learnt that the more you look at the lines and shape of the object within your viewpoint, the more successful and free your sketch will turn out.
