This video triptych depicts women from three generations within the artists family. The self portrait is set beside portraits of the artists mother and the artists 5 year old daughter. Drawings, photographs, and video footage are merged together into a collage like animation.
The subjects are all sitting still and the movement is almost undetectable at first glance. On closer inspection elements of the picture are subtly animated. The eyes are blinking, the chest is moving as if breathing and the skin texture is coming to life. Background patterns frame the faces and revolve in an ever-changing cycle.
