ANDREW COOMBES.

“Living outside Newtownards, County Down next to Strangford Lough I paint mainly in acrylics on paper my thoughts and memories. I returned to painting in 2009 having not picked up a paint brush for twenty years and have been exhibiting throughout Ireland since. Amongst others I am represented by The Arboury Gallery, Bangor.”

I stumbled upon Coombes work in St.Georges market where his work mainly featured a stag. The bright washes of acrylic varied from small postcards to massive oil canvases.
